After being fully booked almost straight away for our first steak night our fantastic supplier Joe who plays for Penrith RUFC from Kirkup Butchers in Longtown is coming down to host an another steak night here at The Secret Garden!🪴
He will be bringing his mobile butchers counter into the restaurant for you to come and select your steak and choose the size you’d like it cut too! 🥩

Our restaurant can be found through the rear of our shop, Pooley Bridge Village Stores.
The Secret Garden is an independent family run Bar & Restaurant located in the heart of the very charming and lively village of Pooley Bridge.
The quaint seating area here at The Secret Garden sits along side the river Eamont, with views of Lake Ullswater and the beautiful wildlife that surrounds us is a perfect setting for all. A great atmosphere to escape reality and enjoy one of our cocktails or a specially selected bottle of wine from our fantastic wine list.
We offer freshly prepared meals, whether that be a light bite or a hearty meal, there really is something for everyone. All cooked by our passionate chefs in our open kitchen, for all the foodies to watch and enjoy.
